Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our representative will be awaiting you, holding the sign of Ramasside Tours. You will then be efficiently transferred by an air-conditioned vehicle to your designated hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 2: Visit to the Great Pyramids and Egyptian Museum

Following breakfast, commence your day with a visit to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Displaying a rare collection spanning 5000 years, it boasts the largest and most precious assortment of Egyptian art globally, with over 250,000 genuine artifacts. Notable is the Tutankhamen collection, featuring treasures, gold, and jewelry that had been enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before its discovery in the 1920s.

Next, explore the Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions, with Cheops standing as the most colossal ever built. Conclude your day with a close-up encounter with the Sphinx, a colossal funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of King Chephren. Optionally, indulge in an evening trip aboard a Nile cruise for two hours, including an Egyptian folk show during dinner.

Day 3: Alexandria Tour

After breakfast, your tour guide will pick you up for a day trip to Alexandria. Begin with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, the world’s largest library, currently housing 8 million books. Explore its open court and free museums.

Note: The Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and public holidays. Entry to the reading area requires an additional ticket.

Proceed to the site of the Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, now occupied by the Qaitbey Castle. Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk, the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, and the statue of Alexander the Great. Optionally, enjoy lunch before visiting the church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa, and driving along the Cornish to see Alexandria from the sea.

Explore the old downtown of Alexandria, built by Alexander the Great, before returning comfortably to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 4: A Memorable Trip

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport and assist you with final departure formalities.
