Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo Upon your arrival at Cairo airport, our representative from Ramasside Tours will be waiting for you with a sign. You’ll then be comfortably transferred to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Giza Pyramids / National Museum of Egyptian Civilization – Mummies Experience After breakfast, embark on a fascinating tour beginning at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization. Housing over 50,000 artifacts, it provides a comprehensive overview of Egypt’s history from prehistoric times to the present day. Don’t miss the Royal Mummies Hall, showcasing mummies of kings like Hatshepsut, Tuthmosis, and Ramses.
Next, explore the iconic Great Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerions. Get a close-up view of the Sphinx, and enjoy a camel ride for special panoramic views.
(Optional) In the evening, consider attending the Sound & Light show at the Pyramids.
Day 3: Cairo – Nile Cruise – Nubian Village After breakfast, an early transfer to the domestic airport leads to a flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the Philae temple and experience life in a traditional Nubian village by motorboat. Cruise to a Nubian village on the west bank of the Nile, gaining insights into local customs and culture.
Transfer to the Cruise for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Nile Cruise Sail to Kom Ombo, visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Afternoon tea and sail to Edfu. Enjoy dinner on board, a disco party, and an overnight stay in Edfu.
Day 5: Nile Cruise Breakfast on board, followed by a visit to The Temple of Horus in Edfu. Cross the lock and sail to Luxor. Transfer to Luxor Museum, showcasing antiquities from the Old Kingdom to the Mamluk period. Explore the Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple.
Dinner on board with a Galabya party, and overnight in Luxor.
Day 6: Nefertari Tomb – Fly to Cairo Breakfast on board, disembarkation, and a visit to the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of King Tut. Continue to the Valley of the Queens, Temple of Deir El Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to the airport, fly to Cairo, and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Trip to Alexandria Treasures Start your day with a visit to the Library of Alexandria, the Jewelry Museum, and the Site of the Lighthouse. Explore the royal gardens, mosques, and the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria. Visit the church of St. Mark and stroll through the old city-center. Return to Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Cairo Food Tour – Departure Indulge in an Egyptian food tour, savoring the best local delights. If time allows, explore the real taste of Egypt. Our representative will then transfer you to the airport, assisting you with departure formalities.
